Zack Puglia-Tucson Tigerz

Zack Puglia was a big part of the Tucson Tigerz team that finished runner-up in the 16U age group of the Baseball Showcase Memorial Day Classic tournament at the Peoria Sports Complex, home of Seattle Mariners spring training, on May 26. Trailing, 8-0 in the championship game, Puglia plated two runs with a big triple to give his team some hope after being shut down for the entire game to that point.

 "It felt good,” Puglia said. “I was just trying to rally up my team and hope we could get a comeback.”

Puglia, 15,  attends Empire High School in Tucson where he plays baseball. Outside of baseball, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing football and playing XBOX.
