Overcoming an Error

Nicholas Didier-Tucson Tigerz

Nicholas Didier is the right fielder for the Tucson Tigerz 16U baseball team. He helped lead his team to a runner-up finish in the Baseball Showcase Memorial Day Classic tournament at the Peoria Sports Complex, home of Seattle Mariners spring training, on May 26. In the championship game, Didier had one of the highlights for his team when he made a great throw from right field to get the runner at second base.

“Felt really good,” Didier said. “Especially making a stupid error like that in one of the earlier innings. It felt nice to have some vindication.”

Didier does not just play baseball for his club team. He also plays baseball for Empire High School in Tucson. Outside of baseball, he does 4-H where he enjoys shooting sports. He also ran track for his school and enjoys playing basketball. After high school, he wants to continue his baseball career.
